Our Elders

Cory is the husband of one wife, Tina, and together they have seven children, three boys and four girls. He enjoys spending time with his family, being the pastor at GBC Paris, reading books, talking about theology, and roasting and drinking coffee.  Pastor Cory is passionate about bringing the Gospel to the plautdietsch-speaking world and hosts the podcast Gott Sien Wuat opp Plautdietsch.

Henry and his wife, Sarah, have been members at GBC Paris since the start and are raising their three children, Damian, Kezia, and William. Henry serves as an elder of local outreach and is in charge of live broadcasting. In his spare time, he enjoys riding his Harley, hosting, and refining his bbq skills.

Ruben is husband to Esther and father to Knox and Falcon. He serves as an elder at GBC Paris and takes care of the finances there. He loves bbq-ing and smoking food on the Big Green Egg, which he then generously shares with other people. Ruben also enjoys a good theology book. When he’s not busy with church or work duties, he likes to soar in the skies.

Kenneth is married to Mary, the pillar in his life. Together they have two wonderful boys, who are both in college. He serves as the elder of family ministry at GBC Paris. He loves going on motorcycle trips with his wife. He also enjoys the gun range alone or with friends, as well as studying and learning.

 

Franz is the newest member of the elder team at GBC Paris. Although he was confirmed recently, he has been part of the church since the beginning and has served in various roles, including, youth ministry, sound, and preaching. He enjoys physical fitness and reading books about theology and philosophy, and finds joy in strategy and numbers. Franz is married to Hilda and together they pray to become parents.
