The Anticipation of Christ

God had promised a redeemer in Genesis 3:15. People throughout the Old Testament looked with great longing for this redeemer. Often times they felt abandoned and forgotten by God, but God does not make empty promises. He fulfilled his promise, at the exact time that he had predestined that it would come to pass. God provides the redeemer.
